The NSLS Foundation receives a large volume of submissions each semester, and winners are chosen by the Foundation National Review Board through a highly selective process. Due to this competitive environment, members are encouraged to submit their best work in order to increase the chances of receiving a scholarship or award. Members may submit multiple applications, however members will only be eligible to win one scholarship or award for that Scholarship period. The Foundation National Review Board checks submissions for proper eligibility and truthfulness. Fraudulent applications will result in a disqualification of the application and a revocation of the submitter's NSLS membership. The NSLS Foundation retains the right not to award a scholarship or grant at any given time, with the funds rolling over to the next award period.
